And country or city
Include 3-4 interests.
Go.
But with the advancement of AI and FB’s own algorithms.
You can pick your demographics and location.
Scale back on the interests.
An Online Business serving a country or globally - Audiences at the 1 Million+ mark make sense.
A Local business that serves in person or just to the surrounding city etc - is going to target that city only.
Where do your best clients come from? - target that.
Or if they came through previous ads - then Retarget them.
And the rest?
It actually comes down to how good your creative (image, video) in the ad is to ‘stop the scroll’
And then the quality of your offer.

***These are a few real FB groups I found just this week alone.
So, how did this happen?

Because there is a higher purpose that needs to be fulfilled.
And having a group of people see you, hear you, value you
Is CRITICAL.
Here’s what happened:
💔It was the destination for members from a 3 day masterclass or challenge etc.
But membership dropped once the masterclass or challenge was over.
And there was no follow up plan to convert them to main 1:1 or group clients.
Or in many cases:
💔The masterclass /challenge did not get the right numbers coming in that you expected. And the group got left to fade away into the past……
Then connecting new people to the group took too long organically
The new connections — HOURS to find them, add them, 🙏 they accept.
The messaging, 🙏 it works
The followups, 🙏ing they answer..
No more energy, no more time.
……so it got pushed to the back burner whilst you focussed on “attraction marketing” content that should somehow (without lead generation) bring in the reinforcements for the group.
Easier to control, less time needed.
(𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐇𝐔𝐆𝐄 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐛𝐭𝐰)
And the problem is that the longer the group stays inactive (“dead”).
The harder it is to get people to join…
I mean put yourself in their shoes 👞👞
A new person that stumbles onto the group link.
Are you going to join a group that has had no new members for a month and posts rarely if at all?
(After all you CAN see all of this on the screen BEFORE you click to join).
YOUR DREAM CLIENTS SEE THIS TOO.
Slamming the door in their face
(indirectly).
😥
It was NEVER intended….
But it IS happening
And secretly you wish
That your work was SEEN.
The group was humming and buzzing.
With those wanting to realise their potential
And you as the leader 😇
To take your collective to that next level.
And the truth is
YOU CAN do that.
Without losing more hours in the day that you already don’t have.
And it doesn’t need to cost an arm and a leg to get the member numbers up.
𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 ‘𝐡𝐮𝐛’ 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝗪𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞.
By doing this your community changes to:
✅New interested people that join & keen to know more (and you don’t have to lift a finger to find them btw).
✅Your group becomes a warm audience to know, like and trust you - which is FAR superior to 1:1 cold dms or waiting to send a message to randoms saying “thank you for liking my post”.
✅Your community becomes a thriving hub for your mission.

Then came “Digital Marketing”, “Facebook Ads”
And WOW - you can be in a business helping people that need help in this space.
(They need to focus on other areas of their business)......All without a marketing degree.......Without needing to be in this space for years.
