Rainy, winter days...

Bad weather always makes the interaction increase – completely independent from the season.

Fans react, on average, 42% more often when the sun isn’t shining.

On rainy, summer weekends, posts receive nearly twice as many reactions: interaction on posts increases by 90%.

Even in spring, autumn and winter a clear difference between sunny and rainy days is noticeable: there are 39% more reactions on average when it’s rainy.

There were 4.35 million social media users in New Zealand in January 2022.

The number of social media users in New Zealand at the start of 2022 was equivalent to 89.2 percent of the total population.

Kepios analysis reveals that social media users in New Zealand increased by 380 thousand (+9.6 percent) between 2021 and 2022.

Not many people have the opportunity to work with their Mum's. I am so thankful that I get to say I do!

It's funny because at "work" she is Louise. I talk about her as Louise... but at home she is my Mum.

She has been with me since the very start of the planning stage of We Do Social. We have educated ourselves, up-skilled, strategised, planned, talked and talked and evolved this business into what it is today - together.

I can honestly say that starting a business has not been easy, but I can tell you it would have been a thousand times harder if it hadn't been for her.

She helps takes care of my kids, is brilliant editing and writing, organising, planning and has always provided an ear or a shoulder when the going got tough.

Shopify is a brilliant platform where there is no coding needed (for most of the uses for an average business). That means when we have finished the website build and pass it on to you as the business owner, you get full training and can do all your updates, blogs, image changes, text changes, inventory, product, shipping, etc all yourself. I just got back from holiday with my hubby and kids in our caravan to the beautiful and sunny Hawke's Bay. ⁣

We got to go on some special miniature trains, explore a thousand playgrounds, saw the Pekapeka Wetlands, The National Aquarium and catch up with friends and family. What an adventure.⁣
⁣
I'm all back and ready for an epic week ahead working with some new clients and exciting projects. Back to it! Happy to have gone and got the break, but so happy to be creating back to my rhythm.⁣

Last night New Plymouth totally rocked it as we hosted the wonderful . Mullet Muzz was out, I had a drink or two with my beautiful friends and their friends and catching up with lots of friends I hadn't seen in years and a sound to get my dancing feet out. What a blast!

If I were to sit down with you as a potential client to discuss the Social Media packages that we have on offer there are a number of things that we go over.

Some of these are:

🔹 Outcomes and goals
🔹 Budget
🔹 Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc)
🔹 Target Market (including their ideal customer)
🔹 Reach (how many people they are hoping to have their posts seen by)

Once we have established these I use a template of pre-planned packages and then we can tweak them to suit. That way we can make sure you become a happy client.

How to increase your organic growth on Instagram and Facebook:

You need to engage with your Audience!

💜 Any time you receive a comment, tag or message you should respond to it. Respond thoughtfully to anything they have to say about your business.

[spammy message don't require a response, and write careful, thought-out responses for negative comments, don't engage further if you don't need to]

💜 Create great, engaging content and ask questions to create a space for people to be able to respond and engage.

💜 Create polls, quizzes and links.

💜 Engage with other people's content from your business page. Find relevant accounts and start liking and commenting on their posts.

💜 Belong to groups where you can promote your business pages, eg a local business group or networking group.

It's a two-way street.. you need to interact with others if you want the same on your content. Support other businesses and they will support you.

Oh hi there! Yep… I’m still here!

2021 was one of the most epic of years for me. We Do Social just exploded and between looking after my clients, family life and Lockdowns it was full-on.

I’m extremely excited about this year as I have some new clients coming on board, new services to offer and some brands that I have been working with that I can’t wait to showcase.

I am able to take on one more client this month for Branding or a Website and one for Social Media Management so if you know of anyone that is in need of either of those get them to get in touch.

Welcome to a New Year!

I’m trying to work, but I have happy kids bouncing on the tramp and playing with the hose which is a little distracting 💦

Last year saw amazing growth and change for my business and something that came out of it was working out what I love about what I do and making sure I do more of it!

So, this year I have a couple of new bundles and products I will be launching once the kids go back to school first week of Feb.

In the meantime, soak up those summer rays!
