Stay protected against Covid

It might not be making quite so many headlines these days, but unfortunately, Covid is still here. If you’re 50 or over, taking care of yourself is just as important as ever.

The good news is, keeping up to date with the Covid vaccine can help protect you from serious illness. It’s free, and recommended for you and many others as long as you haven’t had the vaccine, or Covid, in the last 6 months.

To book your vaccination, go to BookMyVaccine.nz or talk to your doctor or chemist.

Book all vaccines on the National Immunisation Schedule, plus COVID-19 and flu vaccines. Book immunisations for yourself, someone else, or a group.

Kia orāna, Tālofa lava, Mālō e lelei, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Mālō nī, Ni sa bula vinaka, Talofa, Mauri and Noaˈia,

Today marks the start of World Immunisation Week, which is observed across the globe in the last week of April each year. It highlights the opportunities we have to protect our children, our elderly, and ourselves from vaccine-preventable diseases.

This year World Immunisation Week is focused on making sure all children have access to immunisation regardless of where they live or their socioeconomic status. To celebrate, many Pacific healthcare providers will be out in their communities providing vaccinations.

If you see an immunisation event, why not take your family and check it out? It’s a great way to get more information and you and your aiga/kainga can get immunised.

A big thank you to our Pacific providers, for all the incredible work you put in to keep our people safe.
