Generate NZ Limited recently completed some work for the Hope Project at Avalon's Studio 7.
The Hope Project is a unique communications venture undertaken on behalf of a wide range of Christian churches in New Zealand. Generate NZ, along with a variety of other media and supply organisations, has provided creative and production expertise for all forms of public communication.
An important component for 'Phase-2' of the project was the development of new TV commercials along with web-site intro videos. Strategically there were two distinctly different creative executions developed for the public launch. In order to keep productions within budget significant cost and logistic efficiencies were needed, so recording all creative at a single venue was imperative.
Avalon Studios had been on our radar for some time (based on past interactions) and initial scoping went very smoothly. The combination of high quality facilities; logistics flexibility; and technical support made this an attractive option. But the all-round 'can-do' attitude exhibited during the shoots actually made this a most enjoyable production engagement.
Shoot logistics involved careful management of a smaller studio space… with systematic storing and mounting of murals and props during the shoots. And crews worked seamlessly together - some from our own network and others from Avalon Studios. Plus, having lounges and make-up areas nearby enabled us to marshal and prepare talent very efficiently. Everything needed to run-on-rails, and it did.
So, thank you Avalon Studios for highly professional support that truly made our job easier.
