I was fortunate that my passion for film, video and photography gave me the opportunity to meet some remarkable individuals. In the past, I worked for a dozen television stations, government agencies, and independent film productions as a cinematographer, photographer, producer and video editor. Social media blurred the lines between these positions but ultimately, the attention to detail necessar

y to fulfil all of these rolls stayed the same. My experience helps me to capture emotion and translate ideas into visuals. I'm a naturally curious person, and I believe the world is a beautiful place, worth observing and documenting. This page is built as a showcase of my contemporary gigs and excerpts from a previous body of work.

A few photos of Band Mehana in CoCA Massey Block 1 audio studio. The band was recording the soundtrack for the short film Song for Serbia directed by Bulgarian Rouzie Hassanova and produced by Kiwi Francesca Carney.
The two leading actresses are the Serbian sisters Dea & Mia Jeremic. A really cool international project :)

And now something completely different, Somatic Incubator. Shout out to my mate Jason Muir from Urban Dream Brokerage, and Adam Ben-Dror for inviting me to this extraordinary event at Mouthfull Space.

The Somatic Incubator is based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Wellington and hosts a weekly somatic movement class drawing from approaches such as Contact Improvisation, Contemporary Dance and Clowning. They also invite guest artists to run workshops and create opportunities for movement research and performance.
We consider dance to be more than just a form of artistic expression: It's a way to engage with the world, to relate to oneself and to the living environment, it's a tool of liberation and of political protest. We co-create spaces to build community through the practice of somatic movement which we see as essential for healthy, sustainable and resilient societies in a world of transition.

The somatic Incubator is Heidi Kafer, Georgia Beechey and Adam Ben-Dror.
