Our first guild night for 2025 is coming up on Monday 3rd February. Bronwyn will be demonstrating the Cartoon Cake that was one of the demonstrations by Gillian Belton (Gillie's Creative Cakes) from conference last year in Dunedin. Photos below are from Gillian's demonstration.

We are having a get-together to celebrate the end of the year by having a dessert night at Main St Cafe on Kelvin St, on Monday 9th December at 7pm. If you could please RSVP by Friday 6th December so we can let the cafe know numbers. Also this evening we would like to hear your suggestions of what you would like to learn in the coming year - so please bring your ideas

Our AMG will be held on Monday 25th at 7pm in the back rooms of South City Party Nibbles. All welcome.

Due to the convention this weekend, next week’s class has been rescheduled to Monday, November 11th. Doors will open at 7 PM for a cuppa, and we'll begin at 7:30 PM. Instead of a raffle, we’ll be supporting Hospice, and I’ll share a list of needed items next week.

In this workshop, Shelley Clay will guide us in creating adorable Christmas cookie/cupcake toppers. We'll provide cookies, but you’re welcome to bring your own iced cupcakes!

It’s free for members who bring their own icing, $5 for members (with icing provided), and $10 for non-members. Space is limited to 10 participants, so please bring your mats, circle cookie cutters, and tool kits.

Please RSVP by Tuesday, November 5th, so we can confirm numbers before opening registration to the public.

Earlier this month we had a go at making Paua fondant, a tutorial from Tracey Van Lent which we got from the Pettinice website. We all started with the same amounts of fondant but we all had various amazing Paua patterned fondant at the end
