This is nearly always the entry point to people’s Facebook advertising experience. It’s like the tower of chocolate bars at the checkout in a supermarket – perfectly placed and just so inviting! If you’ve got a post that you think should be getting great traction but isn’t really performing, then it’s so tempting just to press that button, b**g on $10, click and hope for the best…

Looks like a new scam doing the rounds so if you get it - IGNORE IT!

🚩 The link is not an official Meta url
🚩 Meta does not call itself ‘Facebook Meta @ 2022’
🚩 If you scroll aaaall the way to the bottom of the message you will see a bunch of Pages tagged. Meta (Facebook) would never tag other businesses!

This made me laugh! It is so true 😆

Forget 'hacking' anything these days, the ONLY thing that matters is that you stack the odds in your favour by creating the most authentic, helpful and entertaining content that you can.

✅ take time to understand what your audience needs and create content around that
✅ be consistent - even if that is posting twice a week
✅ always include a call to action (CTA)
✅ don't spread yourself too thin - mastering one channel is fine!
✅ focus on proactive engagement - join conversations or start conversations
✅ show your face, lots.

Above all - just be yourself. That will draw in the most likely customers and turn them into fans.

Gosh, there's a ton of nonsense out there…

People think social media will save their business. Like it's some magic bullet that will fix all their problems with getting more customers.

As if creating a business profile and then posting a load of promotional content is going to generate sales...
Let me tell ya...that ain't gonna work!

Imagine walking down the street minding your business. You have places to be, people to see.
Then suddenly, a weird lady just rushes towards you, shouting at you "Buy my cool stuff today!". You'd want to get as far away as possible from her! 😲

Unfortunately, that's how most businesses behave on social media. But to be fair, it used to be that easy...for a short time. But we're not in 2010 anymore.

Over the last month, how many times have you mentioned something (anything!) that you sell?

The people who need your thing, can’t buy it if they don’t know your service/course/programme/membership exists.

But you don't have to go full-blown sales pitch to remind them of your offer.

You can do something subtle, like:

📌 Sharing a testimonial
📌 Posting a pic about client work you’re doing that day
📌 Share a tip and then a link to buy the thing for more help….

Stop kicking your own butt.

It’s unnecessary at best, and just plain mean at its worst.

Think of it like this. Everything you do is just *practice,* but you’re out here treating it like the World Champion finals.

It’s just practice!

You can:

👉 Make mistakes
👉 Fail
👉 Fall down (whoops!)
👉 Embarrass yourself a little bit 😬
👉 Be a newbie
👉 Start over

It’s all good! That’s what practice is for!

So do me (and you) a huge favour and stop being so hard on yourself all the time.

Quick (but important) page admin reminder 👉 Make sure you have more than one admin on your account.

Several people in my network recently have had their personal accounts hacked and have lost access to their business pages (like the guy in the link below) 😢. If you have more than one admin they will still be able to access it, if you are not able to.

Add anyone you trust, they don't have to be working in your business - your best friend, your husband, your favourite auntie.
