For the final part of Friday Filth, expect some well and truly heavy drum and bass that will get you moving whether you like it or not!

A word from Absent - "I can not express just how thankful I am to have been able to do this for you all! The show(s) I have hosted on Pulzar FM have been an anchor in my life. I have connected and curated music for one and for many. I have been privileged to showcase new and exciting music as well as dig in to the music that has inspired me along my own musical journey."

I will miss making dad jokes and horrible puns, I will miss the regular hugs I get from my co hosts but most of all I will miss the texts and interaction I get from you.

Though this is the end of the shows for me on Pulzar FM, I will always be doing something so if you would, please follow along with me on socials for whatever it is that is next.

Your host Absent will be throwing everything but the kitchen sink at you, but that is not all! There is a guest mix from a long-time fan and supporter of the show and Pulzar.

This week is a special show as you know the last time the boys will be in the studio together chatting pure marginal yarns and taking you through a journey to showcase everything they've offered through the years.

A word from the boys: It's been a real pleasure sharing the studio with each other and neither of us can imagine doing it any differently so tune in from 6pm on 100.9fm to catch the dynamic duo for one last hoorah!! Tonight, and for the next three weeks we will be celebrating, as a group of passionate radio hosts, DJs, and music lovers - the life of our amazing radio station throughout the years and bringing everything we have to the airwaves for one mighty send-off. (If you haven’t heard the news, please refer to our post last night).

Tonight, Ligma and Q-Sonik have two champions in the studio! To start things off with a bang we have Yen ahead of his birthday weekend and headline gig at Hide tonight! Q-Sonik will then be jumping in the mix before he hands off to the one like Boasteeze, to go in on a b2b with your other host Ligma! It's a sad time for Pulzar at the minute however let's use these last shows to celebrate and go with a bang in true Pulzar fashion!

J Howler, Little Bird, and Gwarden welcome Manik into the studio ahead of his support at Hide tomorrow night for State of Mind alongside our very own bird as Bad Birds and Level 3. Manik specializes in the darker side of drum and bass (just how this team like it) and has an ear for moody, atmospheric sounds. Get ready for a journey through the shadows as he explores the deepest depths of the genre's soundscapes.

9pm – For the last part of your Friday night flith, Absent will be smashing out more bangers than a Bunnings barbeque! If there is one thing we know for sure, the entire crew is going to give you all one hell of a show and make just a few more memories!

We got that easy breezy Friday feeling and some Friday Filth incoming! 💨

Tonight from 6pm Q-Sonik has said to expect a journey of high energy jump-up to kick off the night. Then he'll simmer it down to something more minimal to pass over to the 7.30pm junglist crew.

Joining Gwarden & J Howler tonight is Spacella - Hailing from the deep south, Spacella has traveled the length of the country redefining her passion for bass music. After 4 years of dedication behind the decks, Spacella has solidified her DJ alias at grassroots outdoor gigs across the South Island and is beginning to fill dance floors at local Christchurch clubs. Prepare for a spicy selection of dark rollers, jump up, and jungle.

To finish your Friday with a bang, Absent will take you through until 10:30pm. There will be no shortage of fresh, exciting, and unreleased music for your listening pleasure. So tune in and zone out to some dutty drops and banging bass!!

6.00pm – Ligma is switching things up with a full 1.5-hour b2b set with Crash Course.

The two will be taking you through a journey of sound tonight, bringing deep dark and soulful vibes and if they’re feeling extra spicy, they might even throw in some garage 👀

7.30pm – It’s ladies' night! Little Bird, Gwarden & J Howler have invited in the girls' Thorn & ZARA DNB for a back-to-back guest mix! The duo have been good friends for a few years and started their drum and bass journey together. Their style is a mixture of their love for filthy jump up and rollers but JUNGLE gets them weak in the knees so expect a juicy mix of all styles and some unique blends that they can’t wait to showcase!

9pm – Absent is back with his bag of goodies. What he will play tonight, we do not know but it’s sure to be filthy😉
