Kiwi Translation’s Josiah Beach served as Master of Ceremonies for the Citizenship Ceremony last night.

An honour to be part of the final ceremony for Mayor Lianne Dalziel who has presided over 70+ ceremonies and handed out certificates to over 10,000 new citizens during her 9 years in office. Congratulations again to all our new citizens!

NZTA extends period for driving on an overseas licence to 24 months:
Holders of a valid overseas driving licence who entered NZ between 2 Jan 2019 and 17 Dec 2020 can drive in New Zealand for up to 24 months OR until 31 March 2022, whichever comes first.

The rules around the eligibility period for driving in New Zealand on an overseas driver licence have been temporarily changed. The temporary extended period for some overseas licence holders is up to a maximum of 24 months after arrival and will expire on 31 March 2022.
