A quick dive into the history of videography 👉🎥

•Video productions origins begun with the 1st b&w picture taken by Joseph Niepce in 1826
•In 1832, Joseph Plateau became the 1st to stimulate moving images
•His new invention was named phenakistoscope (“spindle viewer”)
•Fast forward to 1891 when Thomas Edison invented true motion picture cameras 📸
•1895 the projector became available
•By 1964 Sony produced the 1st portable video recorder

•Is videography difficult?

Although anyone can buy a digital camera, the videography and media making industry is full of competition.

Success is determined by three key attributes 🗝
1️⃣ Relevant technical knowledge
2️⃣ A decent amount of creativity
3️⃣ Ambition- a lot of it!

Gaining the technical knowledge required and the creativity to be great are rarely achieved by beginners' luck.

What makes professional videographers successful is years of experience and maybe even a certificate or a degree 📜
