Pride Wairau put on an amazing Community day today! Amazing atmosphere and hugely successful day. I sold nearly all my stock so will need a few days to restock, but rest assured…. I will stay restocked, and not just for Pride month!

2024 is proving to be just as busy as 2023 so THANK YOU to all my loyal customers! I have started this year with improved focus and organisation to make sure I can continue to offer good service and maintain my excellent reputation. Part of this step is to prioritise my workload and stop letting the small and/or urgent jobs jump ahead of a client who has been patiently waiting for their work to be completed. I have implemented this by using a booking system, I can now tell you exactly when I have booked time to complete your work and give you a more accurate date/time of completion. I have also implemented a rush fee; if you need your work urgently it means I am delaying another clients work or working overtime so there will now be a 25% rush fee with a minimum charge of $25.00. May we all be organised and never need to use it 😅

Stuck for Christmas Present ideas? Have I got a fundraiser for you!! AT Red Cross we are selling Evansdale Cheese rounds with delivery date in December so perfect timing for Christmas. We had a tasting on Monday and these cheese are beautifully smooth. They are not strong over powering cheeses and were perfect with a bit of fig jelly, grapes, chutney etc.
Flavours available are; Tania (Smoked Brie), Ruby Bay (Tasty, hard), Komene Kass (Semi Tasty), Bay Blue (Creamy Blue), Mt Cagill (Dry Tasty), Sage (Old English/Sage herb), and Pepper.

Everyone! Have you ever thought you might like to get involved in a community group but not known where to start? I am part of the local Disaster Welfare Support Team with Red Cross, and it’s fantastic. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of an organisation who lives by its values and fundamental principles; Humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality.
On Monday 7th August at 6:30pm we have new members joining and will be running an introductory night, with pizza! It’s the perfect chance to come along and learn about what we do and how you can be involved. Let me know if you want more info and if you’re interested in coming along so we have enough pizza to go around 😉
