Discover the rich history of aviation with the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre where you can explore WWI and WWII aviation. Whether it's the life-sized dioramas or film director Sir Peter Jackson’s WWI personal collection, there's something here for every aviation enthusiast!
One of the most famous aircraft at Omaka is Fokker Dr.I Triplane, which is associated with the legendary German fighter ace Manfredd von Richthofen, also known as the “Red Baron” The museum’s exhibit includes an impressively detailed replica of the Red Baron’s iconic red triplane, which played a significant role in his status as one of the most famous pilots of WWI.
