NZ veterans are racing against time to make it to the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 in Canada next February 🏉

With less than six months to go, the wheelchair rugby team faces the challenge of securing enough specialist wheelchairs.

Fifteen rugby wheelchairs in total are needed to support NZDF Invictus Team competitors, who are both serving and former NZDF members, including veterans. Currently, only three members of the 10-strong rugby team have the necessary wheelchair, each costing $15,000. Sudima Hotels has already stepped up with a generous donation, but more support is needed.

Read more about the event, what is needed, and how you can help support our team compete on the global stage in the New Zealand Herald: https://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/veterans-troops-in-race-against-time-to-get-rugby-team-to-invictus-games/VKCWRRYHE5GNZCOAPP5E3DMERA/

Troops and vets likely to need business and public support to afford wheelchairs.

In his latest column in the National Business Review, Perpetual Guardian's Tim Chesterfield talks about this and other questions as investors question the sustainability of AI investments.

As Tim puts it “The key difference here is the companies investing today have a lot of money and little debt – they can continue to invest regardless – but there will be a lot of startup failure along the way. We will learn a lot”
