Last night we celebrated 30 Years of The Country in true Kiwi style!
Clients were hosted at an exclusive event with The Country’s Jamie Mackay to celebrate three decades of rural broadcasting and to launch The Farmer’s Pour and The Farmer’s Cut chips in partnership with Emerson’s Brewery and Heartland Chips.

The Alternative Commentary Collective (The ACC) is teaming up with Rebel Sport and Silver Fern Sport to donate backyard cricket sets to Kiwi communities this summer. Through the Pass It Forward initiative, for every set sold in a Rebel Sport store, one identical set will be donated to the Tania Dalton Foundation and given to schools and communities in need across Aotearoa. This year marked NZME's third year as exclusive media partner for Addington Cup Week. Our Chief Commercial Officer James Butcher & Director of Agency and Strategic Accounts Greg McCrea joined our Christchurch team for the festivities this year, hosting clients at the IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup Day.
ZM on the Green, our exclusive ticketed area at Addington Raceway, provided the best views of the races and ensured we kept the party going with our famous silent disco and for the first time ever, the ZM after party!

This morning, we had the privilege of being joined by members of the Paralympics New Zealand team including Para Canoe bronze medallist Peter Cowan and Para Cycling silver and bronze medallists Anna Taylor and Nicole Murray.
They shared their own stories about their incredible journeys, how they’ve overcome adversity and cultivated a resilient mindset to become the champions they are today. Their stories of determination and triumph left us feeling motivated and uplifted.
