From Whangarei to Wellington, Nelson to Christchurch, competitors brought their best, but only one could be crowned World Champ in an unforgettable final at Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour. Congratulations to all our winners.

Today we announced our 2024 Full Year Financial Results, reporting a 2% increase in operating revenue to $345.9 million despite challenging market conditions. We’re pleased to have had a strong start to 2025 with anticipated advertising revenue growth of 4% in the first quarter.

We also shared three significant areas of focus for NZME: a strategic review of OneRoof to realise its full potential, additional specialists from a governance perspective and supporting New Zealand’s economic recovery with a new editorial advocacy campaign. Combined with our clear digital transformation strategy, we're well-positioned for a strong 2025.

We were proud to host the first Connect After 5 event for 2025 last night in Christchurch, with Canterbury business owners hearing insights from Janine Tindall-Morice - our South Island regional head, connecting with one another and meeting our personalities - Matty and PJ from The Hits Drive with Matty & PJ and Connor from The Hits Canterbury.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with local businesses and strengthen our community ties.
