Sharing this lovely review from valued client Sheryl of @glowbeautytherapyclinic
We've been salon owners too and we know what it's like to have your skin in the game. Hearing that our clients are happy and getting results fuels our passion in the work that we do!
Just like Sheryl, you can take the load of social media marketing off your shoulders and focus on your clients and running the business. It's as simple as sending us a DM!
What do you do after posting?
If you close the app right away and go on with your business, then you've just committed what social media marketers call "posting and ghosting".
No matter how great your post is, it wouldn't matter if it's not reaching the right people. While you can maximize your reach instantly through paid methods, there's actually a FREE and organic way to get some traffic towards your profile—engagement strategy.
Here are some engagement tips you can start with:
✅ Reply to comments from previous posts
✅ Like comments from previous posts
✅ Comment on other users' posts, especially those in the same industry
✅ Explore hashtags in your niche and comment on popular posts
✅ Stay sincere and authentic in your interactions!
If you're thinking you've got no time for this, the good news is WE DO! Just send us a DM.
Let's have a little fun today and get to know each other a bit.
So, this or that? Share your answers in the comments below and feel free to tag someone to join in!
Just the fabulous lady starter pack✨ Don't forget to schedule in some YOU time this week!
Instagram is rolling out a “Your Activity” feature which will allow you to view and manage activity all in one spot.
The new feature lets you bulk manage (delete, archive) your content (posts, stories, IG Video and Reels) as well as interactions (comments, likes, story sticker reactions, etc.).
You will also be able to search for prior comments, likes and story replies from specified date ranges.
Will you be using this feature? Let us know in the comments!
You read that right! It has been suggested that Instagram is developing a new feature which will let you rearrange your posts any way you want.
This is great news if you wish to tweak the order and put up some photos or videos you want people to see, or if you simply want to improve feed harmony and visual cohesiveness. The Edit Grid feature will be found in Profile Information under Settings, which will be a simple drag-and-drop process.
Will you be using this feature if it pushes through? Let us know in the comments!
And there goes our Instagram myth of the day.
This is not to say that posting everyday is wrong...in fact, go ahead if you have the time, energy and a well-thought of strategy. Just make sure you don't post too much at a time to avoid giving your followers brand fatigue.
What needs correcting here is the idea that DOING SO IS NECESSARY TO SUCCEED.
Instead, focus on CONSISTENCY. Decide how many posts a week would be achievable for you, set a schedule with identified optimal posting time, and stick to it as a routine.

Did you know that two-thirds of profile visits to businesses come from people who do not even follow that account?
Your ideal salon clients could be out there, casually scrolling and finding their way into your feed. But is your profile ready to convert these visitors into customers? Here's a checklist to see if your profile is optimized for clients to find you:
✔️Searchable profile name within niche
✔️Easy-to-remember username
✔️Branded profile picture
✔️Bio that shows what you do and who you help
✔️Link to website
✔️Creative stories
✔️Cohesive feed that matches bio
Seems like a lot? We're here to help! Just send us a DM.
We know you've put a lot of thought and effort into bringing your salon to life and there are definitely things that separate your salon from the rest. But are you helping clients recognise what you offer?
One important part of your salon identity is visual branding. Its three main components are your logo, fonts, and color scheme. Depending on these, you can choose to appeal to an older or younger demographic, create a feeling or 'vibe' of your salon, and build the overall personality you'd wish to be known for.
In this era of social media, your online presence serves as the basis for first impressions. Need help with visual branding? Send us a DM!

With the post-pandemic change in consumers' shopping and browsing habits, your Instagram profile is a gateway to your business. Your website, page, and Instagram Profile are your new shop window.
People still walk the streets but in fewer numbers. Research completed, post-pandemic, shows a massive surge in numbers of people making their buying decisions online after doing basic Google searches or looking through Instagram feeds that appear in their Explore Page.
What does your Instagram Profile say about you and your salon?
Does it say I have no order (because it looks messy or disorganised) or I am too busy to post (because your content is outdated)?
You never get a second chance to make a great first impression.

If you've been seeing less of the term Google My Business, that's because it's now known as "Google Business Profile".
The name change was made "to keep things simple” according to Google, as it moves to bring more of the business profile management out of the Google My Business app and directly into Google Search, Google Maps and those respective apps. Sometime this year, the Google My Business app will completely retire to encourage businesses to manage their single listings directly on Search or Maps.
