The World Indigenous Television Broadcasters Network (WITBN) is a coalition of indigenous broadcasters from five countries around the globe, including Whakaata Māori in New Zealand, National Indigenous Television (NITV) in Australia, Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) in Canada, NRK Sápmi in Norway, and Taiwan Indigenous Television. WITBN is a not-for-profit organization that aims to fos

ter the growth and development of the indigenous media sector through various initiatives such as staff exchanges, training programs, networking opportunities, and the sharing of program ideas. As a member of WITBN, each organization is committed to supporting and strengthening the indigenous media industry as a whole. The World Indigenous Television Broadcasters Network was established in 2008 with the aim to preserve and promote our global languages and cultures.
