Bilingual books especially for people of the South Pacific Islands
With authentic photos, and translation by ethnic academics, these little books are a great introduction to languages of the South Pacific. Available for sale in Apia at Business Systems book shop, in Rarotonga at Bounty Books. Some may also be available at University of the South Pacific in Suva, Fiji. The compiler of these books, June Allen, is a former school teacher and school librarian. She has other children’s stories with a New Zealand and Pacific flavour.
