Drama at the NZ TQ Midget Championship as rain beings a hault to tonight's racing!

The rain has come to stay. The remainder of tonight’s Melrose Motorsport NZ TQ Title has been cancelled.

We will run the 25 Lap TQ Feature TOMORROW. It will be the only event run.

FREE entry for everyone
Pit gates open from 9am
Public Gates open from 10am

We will aim to have the feature on track between 11am-12pm.

There will be no refunds issued for tonight’s event as we are past our rainout policy.

There will be a free livestream of the feature, live on Facebook.

Tonight’s winning 50/50 was 11961.

After two late nights at Wellington Family Speedway Caleb Ireland (19B) was crowned the new 1NZ Stockcar! Josh Walsh (35S) defeating the defending champion Kyle Rowe in a runoff for 2nd and 3rd.

19b Caleb Ireland takes the 2025 Capital Pools and Spas New Zealand Stockcar Championship heat two win, from the 35s of Josh Walsh followed by the 94a of Sam Wright!
