Part 2 -Dinosaur Kingdom in Butterfly Creek

Dinosaur Kingdom at Butterfly Creek, Auckland

My favourite dinosaurs are the interactive giant life size Diplodocus, T-Rex and Velociraptor. You can see more than 50 dinosaurs including a Plesiosaur, Velociraptor, Triceratops, Dilophosaurus, Archaeopteryx, Stegosaurus, Spinosaurus and Sauropod dinosaurs. The animatronic dinosaurs roar and move to make them ever more realistic.

New Zealand Army Bay which is located at the park entrance on the north western side of the park. This beach got its name from the army exercises that used to be conducted on the beach. The boat ramp and the gentle slope of the beach make this a popular spot to launch boats, start kayaking or SUP activities. The location being across the road from the main entrance to the park is an added attraction for boaties.
