Lunar Karaoke Challenge Knockouts: Witness the vocal battle of Auckland’s aspiring singers in the knockout heats of the Auckland Lunar New Year Karaoke Challenge. The top 16 and wildcard entrants will showcase their talents on the 14th, competing for a place - and prizes - for the grand finale on the 25th.
Music Performances: Immerse yourself in a high-energy 45-minute set from NZ’s K-Pop sensation, Sleepwalk Skeleton. Their unique blend of J-Pop/Rock music is sure to electrify the crowd.
Dance Battle - Waack Attack: Experience the excitement of the Waack Attack dance battle, a showcase of expressive dance moves and rhythmic beats. Dancers will bring their best to the floor, competing in this dynamic and vibrant dance form.
Artist Exhibition - Weilun Ha: Admire the work of award-winning Vietnamese-Chinese visual artist Wei Lun Ha. His work, rich in personal and cultural narratives, brings a unique perspective to the event. Enjoy also the curated showcase of work from Wei Lun’s students – pieces that narrate tales of identity and environment through traditional Chinese ink painting and contemporary perspectives.
Kids’ Crafts & Activities: A perfect space for families, filled with activities like coloring Lucky Cats, paper lantern painting, dragon puppet making, and more. A creative paradise for children to explore and enjoy.
Silent Disco Battle: Join our silent disco with battling DJs spinning a fusion of Pan-Asian and global hits. Dance to your chosen beat and witness the DJs’ battle for the most fans.
