Meet our Co-Founder and Other-Half of GhostLike Studios 'Nicky Smirk'.

- Nicky Smirk grew up in East Auckland, New Zealand.

- Growing up he always had a passion for music, for sound frequencies and a desire to freestyle rap!

- Starting to write rap music at 15, Nicky Smirk became fascinated with the English Language and performing starting with 1 Outs Street Battles at 18.

- By 25 had already opened for 4 International Acts (Obie Trice, Tech N9ne, Devilman and Merkules) at some of Auckland's most notable venues!

- In 2020 Nicky Smirk met See-Niz and from there the musical bond was formed to create the magic that is Ghostlike Studios!

Sarikha Rosli, a young mum, motivational speaker and peer support specialist speaks about her experience of sexual abuse, homelessness, drug abuse and baby loss. She is also the founder of youth empowerment movement My Voice Matters and is the NZ Ambassador for the UN Youth Assembly, among other impressive roles. Hear her story on TIFU.

Meet Our Chief Engineer 'See-Niz'

-See-Niz grew up in West Auckland, New Zealand.

-Growing up he was always fond of singing and performing and had many home videos taken of him belting it out, although he didn't quite have a voice back then he was definitely in love with it!

-In year 6 See-Niz performed 'The Black Eyed Peas' Hit 'Where is The Love' To a crowd of over 300 people and owned the stage up and down as if he had been there 100 times before.

-When he turned 15 he decided he wanted to try and teach himself to play guitar.

-By 16 had already Composed & Written 3 songs on the guitar with many more to follow for years to come.

-When See-Niz was 18 he almost went to Play Basketball in America, however, could not afford the trip over there and ultimately decided he would go back to music.

-In 2014, See-Niz Created 'Ghostlike Records' an independent Record Label out of his bedroom in West Auckland.

-In 2020, See-Niz met 'Nicky Smirk'. The two decided to open up a bigger studio together Which is how they got to where they are now with 'Ghostlike Studios'
