आँखा थोरै देख्छिन्, हात समाएर सहारा बनिदिनु,
म मरे भने, मेरी आमालाई हेरिदिनु।

बिहानै उठेर, चिया पिउन मन पराउँछिन्,
गाढा रङ्गको चियामा अलि बढी चिनी मिसाएर पिउन दिनु, अब कोही छैन संसारमा आमालाई फेरि रीतिन नदिनु।
धेरै केही माग्दिनन्, सुत्ने बेला मैले सुनाउने कथाहरु सुनाइदिनु,
म मरे भने, मेरी आमालाई हेरिदिनु।
