बेलायतको केम्ब्रिज विश्वविद्यालयबाट एमफिल र पीएचडी गरेकी डा Aastha Dahal को डिग्रीलाई नेपालको त्रिविले २ वर्षदेखि झुलाउदै अझै समकक्षता दिएको छैन।
उनले आफ्नो फेसबुकमा यसको बारेमा यसरी लेखेकी छन्-
I just got a call from TU curriculum development board. This University is going to decide whether my MPhil and PhD from from the university of Cambridge is worthy of recognition by Nepal. Apparently paying 1,000 for processing the MPhil degree equivalence is not enough. They say I have to pay 4000. Their guidelines said 1000 last year. So I asked if I can pay 3000 as I've already paid 1,000 and he said 'no you have to pay 4,000 at once. And your earlier fee doesn't count'. He literally scolded me and rudely hung up. I'm tired of this. I've spent over 15,000 on this stupid process already. 5,000 processing fees up front. After submitting all my documents online they asked I submit paper copies. Then they asked me to put my Mphil and PhD thesis on two new usb drives and submit it to them when they already have electronic pdfs. Apparently this is for plagiarism checks which cost me 2500 per thesis. I was sent back the other day to fetch a copy of pages from my passport that contain stamps at the Nepali and British airports where I'd departed and arrived. This is despite having attached all my British visas on file. It's been nearly two years that they haven't even opened my file. I have to just nod and pretend and swallow all their insults, and hepai because this equivalent is important for careers people like that man control. Yestai ho hamro TU bhanera daylight robbery robbery sahanu parne. TU can consider 15000 my charity. I don't want this equivalence that comes at the cost of my human dignity.
