Last week, we (Maithili Wikimedians) hosted a advance Wikipedia & Wikimedia Commons workshop. We are thrilled to collaborate with the international, Wikimedia Commons Photographers User Group. We managed to educate about 70 students locally in Rajbiraj during the event. We are concerned about the Wikimedia movement in Nepal, & we are focused on Diversity, Collaboration & Future as same the theme of Wikimania Singapore. Hopefully, we got to attend & learn a lot there.

Now that, we value & promote diversity & inclusion in every aspect of our activities. We ensure that each & every students/volunteers practice good governance & understand the international perspectives. Everyone has the access to free knowledge is what we are committed to bring in. 🍀

Had a pleasant meeting with Manar, Belinda, Zack, Gisca & Rosie at Wikimania Singapore. Their work culture & morale inspired a lot to volunteer, collaborate & facilitate free knowledge along with preserving mother tongue language at local & international level. 💛💚

I am grateful that I got the opportunity to visit Singapore & meet amazing people from around the globe.

Reportedly, Wikimania 2023 was the largest Wikimania ever. More than 2,100 people — 1,500 virtually & over 670 in-person came together to facilitate free knowledge. That's wonderful!

Happy to be there & made amazing memories. Beforehand I haven't seen such tall building structures, vast technology, automatic doors, clean city, disciplined people, amazing foods & rare kindness. This was the very first Wikimania Conference I attended & felt really amazing to be part of it. Learned so much. Whole heartedly thanks to the organizing team & WMF. Thanks to very supportive team of MWUG: Biplab > Bijay > Neelam. Thanks to whoever meet & greet me there. Lots of love. ❤️🇳🇵
