Having broadcasted from very high altitude Radio Dhading can be vividly listenedin Dhading, Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Gorkha meaning being established as the highly preferred radio among about Four million listeners. Furthermore, it has the coverage in various locations of more districts including, Makwanpur, Chitwan, Lamjung,. The radio is getting popularity in the region which has targeted its broadcasting to both rural and urban communities. For the ownership of the community, the radio has been producing and broadcasting programs consisting diverse affairs of the peoples’ concerns. The radio is being broadcasted 17 hours daily which includes news in national and nation’s languages, various entertaining, educational, informative and inclusive broadcasting matters. There are 14 people for the full-time work in the radio station and 5 for partial work and 3 as volunteers. Similarly, 25 people are being assisted regularly in the news from the news from various village development committees in the radio. We have target our programs women, children, tribal people, minorities and poverty and farmers' communities. In particular, we are conducting radio by focusing on the issues of Tamang, Chepang and Kumal community. Last time, disaster risk reduction and livelihood are more widely added on the radio. But all of them are focused on the above mentioned community. With the specific objective of transforming living style of the community into co-operation, we have aligned with co-operative movement.
