Announcing the 1101 Scholarship: Invest in Our Planet and Empower Youth for a Sustainable Future 📢📖

Attention all students who are vegan or vegetarian, or those who are interested in becoming one! The VegVoyages Foundation is excited to announce that the application for the 1101 Scholarship 2023 is now open!

The 1101 Scholarship is our way of supporting students who are passionate about veganism and vegetarianism, and who want to become the vegan voices of tomorrow.

To apply for the scholarship, you can fill out the Google Form available at https://forms.gle/tdJBD45LsCtMbfYh8. Alternatively, you can write an 1101-word essay in your own words that tells the story of your journey to veganism or vegetarianism. Please also include pictures (preferably scanned), along with your personal information such as name, age, and country, and send it to [email protected].

☑️ The deadline for submission is October 1, 2023 - World Vegetarian Day.
☑️ The announcement of the scholarship award will be made on November 1, 2023 - World Vegan Day.

The first ever Himalayan Vegan Festival took place over two weekends in Kathmandu and Pokhara in Nepal. The list of speakers was impressive and included Dr Susianto Tseng, the President of World Vegan Organisation.
