On December 18, 2022, composer Wim Henderickx passed away unexpectedly, leaving the music community stunned and grieving. Among the works he left unfinished was the Timpani Concerto, a project he had been crafting in collaboration with his close friend and timpanist, Gert François.
Two years later, with the support of Wim’s family and his long-time musical collaborator Diederik Glorieux, this remarkable piece has been completed with great care and dedication — serving as a heartfelt tribute to the composer’s artistic vision, ingenuity, and spirit.
