The powerful, freedom-loving Shabana Rehman today lost the fight of her life to cancer. Our thoughts go to her fiancé, her family, and her friends. Some years ago Shabana and her NGO Født Fri ("Born Free") inhabited Oslo Media House. In this picture, by photographer Gorm K. Gaare, she is posing in Skippergata. The year is 2018. While running her organization in the coworking space, Shabana contributed with great strength and energy to many activities in the building. She was always a fighter, a fighter for freedom of speech, a fighter for truth, a fighter for equality, and a fighter against any misuse of religious, political, and systemic powers. She was - and will still be - an inspiration for many, many, many people. We will always remember the good times at OMH with Shabana among us, and the friendships she made with many of us coworkers at our former offices in central Oslo. Rest in peace, Shabana!
