Goeff Boyles store test av kameraer, LED lys og spectrometere er fullført.
Her er en link til en artikkel om den:

og en avsluttende kommentar fra Goeff Boyle:
"OK, that’s it. I’ve finally cracked.
I’ve added frame grabs of every light with 5207 & 5219 and am currently uploading the balanced movies of both film stocks.
They’ll be added to the relevant pages when they finish their trip to Vimeo.
I haven’t finished examining all the material in the detail I want to, but I have finished the CML part!
These are some very quick judgements made, none of them terribly surprising.
Film gives us better skintones than ANY of the digital cameras.
Film is more tolerant of the variations between lights.
Now a surprise, the most accurate light with film at 3200, accurate in that it required the least grading, is the BB&S Area 48 which required no grading at all! This was followed by the Cineo 410 with “real” tungsten close in third place.
ARRI make outstanding cameras and lenses, it’s a pity they aren’t as good with lights ☹ the SkyPanel came out worst of all the lights but, it wasn’t far out with film…
I think the big surprise for me was that regardless of camera they’re all much better than I expected, with the one exception!
I’ll probably, sometime in the future, do a quick still rotating job of each light with all the cameras with ungraded images just so there is a quick comparison of how each light fares across the range of cameras.
If it wasn’t for lockdown, I wouldn’t be even thinking of doing it!
cheers
