Today we celebrate international women’s day! We celebrate all the women that has contributed to science, technology and innovation throughout the years, who has fought for the right to a university education and a place in academia, and who is continuing to put a feminist perspective on the forefront🙌🏼

Because even in 2023, the term ‘gender’ still has a certain stigma attached to it. Feminism still gets mistaken for misandry, and intersectionality is too often left out of the conversation. Identity tends to get lost in the midst of it all. Teknovatøren encouraged our readers to do a deep dive into our gendered world. Issue 23 will provide you with everything from a short story rooted in identity politics, to information regarding the first female car crash dummy, and the agnotology of artificial intelligence. Swipe for car crash dummy🫶🏽

Happy women’s day!

«The students impressed the researchers at Telenor»

We had chosen among Telenors investment areas within innovation, and got to present and argue our best ideas to technology director Ruza Sabranovic and several other professionals at Telenor Research.

The purpose of the meeting was insight, relationship building and mutual learning. It gave us perspectives on what exists within the Telenor universe; what Telenor does in research and innovation - and what the company is like as a workplace.

- Det var deilig å ta på seg dressbuksa og gjøre seg klar for Fornebu, forteller masterstudent Viktor Bugge.

What the hell, Brazil?

"Bolsonaro’s victory in Brazil is just part of a new entangled reality that not everybody wants to know about. ... As time goes by, questions and dilemmas grow with the challenges of the new technologies and how the internet has been used to both educate and confuse."

Is greenwashing the future?

"We should applaud businesses that take a step towards a greener future, every step, no matter how small it is. But we, as the public, as consumers, should also call out those that hide their business behind a wall of green dreams."
