Journey surprised fans at the second of their two arena shows in Honolulu last week by inviting local resident Kirk Hammett onstage to jam with them on a cover of Metallica classic Enter Sandman.

The band were in Hawaii to play a brace of shows at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena, in support of this year's Freedom album, and guitarist Neal Schon took the opportunity to invite fellow San Franciscan Hammett to play with them on October 6. Metallica's guitarist also sat in on the band's Infinity-era single Wheel In The Sky on the night.

"Had a wonderful couple days hanging out with Neal and the guys from Journey," Hammett wrote afterwards on Instagram. "Thanks so much guys for having me jam on Wheel In the Sky, super fun and hope to hang again soon! Much, much Aloha!!!!"

Journey guitarist Schon also posted on social media about the unexpected Cali-jam, alongside a photo of himself and Hammett onstage.

"Had a great time with Kirk Hammett of Metallica last night at 2nd Sold Out Journey show in Hawaii Neal blaisdell Center Honolulu," Schon tweeted. "I put together a jam today for Wheel w/ Enter Sandman."

In a recent interview with Chiles Radio Futuro, Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen, was asked if fans can expect to see the band tour South America in support of the group's latest LP, "Diamond Star Halos".

He replied, “Definitely. Of course, this year we are going to tour the United States with Mötley Crüe, Poison and Joan Jett. And it starts in a couple of weeks… But the tour will be three years - at least three years - for the album. We're doing America this year. Next summer we will definitely come to Europe »

The very very exciting "The Stadium Tour" with Def Leppard together with Mötley Crüe, Posion and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts was to start already on June 21, 2020 in San Antonio, USA, but was postponed due to Covid-19.

But now it's happening!

The tour starts on June 16, 2022 in Atlanta. New venues are constantly being added to the tour schedule as of now counts as many as 37 locations in the United States. The "closing concert" on the tour in the USA is per now dated 09.09.22 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Getting "The Stadium Tour" to Europe next year will be great!

Rock legend Alice Cooper made an entire evening out of his visit to Oslo Spektrum this 7th of june 2022, with Frankenstein and other nightmares embedded in the stage show.

Alice Cooper, or Vincent Furnier as he is actually called, has been on the throne of so-called horror rock since the early 1970s when his career took off with immortal hits such as "School's Out" and albums such as "Billion Dollar Babies". He quickly became known for his bloody, effective stage shows, and has kept it going ever since with varying effects on his audience.

Around 1990, he got a new lease of life with the first monster hit "Poison" from the album "Trash", which he followed up with "Hey Stoopid". He has also now in the 2000s experienced a renaissance that especially the ongoing tour is marked by. It is five years since he was last in Norway, in 2017, and now this year he can celebrate that it is 50 years since he released his biggest hit.

The American rock legend Alice Cooper took over Oslo Spektrum in front of several thousand fans of all ages 7 June 2022.

Alice Cooper has gathered a super team of musicians, with the charismatic guitarists Nita Strauss and Ryan Roxie, and the 4,000 spectators who had gathered in a slightly limited Oslo Spectrum consisted of both old fans who have probably seen Alice Cooper in their younger days, and excited newly saved who could have been the 74-year-old's grandson.

Over 20 titles were on the song list, including the occasional musician solo, from the curtain fell in front of the Nightmare Castle to the tunes of "Feed My Frankenstein", to the last extra number. It is always the song that gives the school students free for good. Occasionally hits like "No More Mr. Nice Guy", "Hey Stoopid", "Go To Hell", "Poison", "Teenage Frankenstein", "Dead Babies" and "Election".

Queens drummer Roger Taylor and guitarist Brian May have revealed that they have found a previously unreleased song by the band with the late frontman Freddie Mercury. The track was recorded in 1988 during the sessions for the band's 13th studio album, "The Miracle". This came to light in connection with Roger Taylor being interviewed by BBC Radio 2 ahead of Queens' performance with Adam Lambert during Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Anniversary Concert last weekend. He said i.a. "We found a little gem from Freddie that we had somehow forgotten. And it's amazing. In fact, it was a real discovery. It's from the "The Miracle" sessions, and I think it'll be out in September. "
