We just want to thank everyone who's helped us achieve this! Monstera Records

With its name inspired by his favourite house plant, Monstera Records was founded in 2020 by Roan Kinder with the aim of giving new artists a place to grow organically that other labels couldn’t come close to.

After graduating from Uni in the UK, Roan always had a love-affair with all things Norway. Having first studied at the well-renowned Westerdals Oslo ACT in 2017, he moved back in 2018 to begin his career in the music industry, working at sister label Sailor Music. This is where his love for discovering new music flourished, and he began to develop some music from his friend; Henrik Felipe. Upon the completion of his education, his dream was always to move back to Oslo and release the most innovative music out there. This is where Monstera Records was born.

With Henrik’s debut planned for release in mid-April, things are only just starting to take off at the record label with the best name around. With another single and an EP to come in the next few months, it promises to be the year of the Monstera, as it becomes the most exciting new label in Norway.
