1. Inculter - Morbid Origin

"Inculter er fett. Typ, '87 Hetfield fett og vi alle vet at ingenting er fetere en dét. Adidas hightops, mutton chops, riff, YEEEAH!

Dette er faen meg et thrashmetal mesterverk. Fusagutta har virkelig gjort leksene sine og har med sin tredje fullengder nådd et helt nytt nivå. Deilig riff etter deilig riff med noen respektfulle "homages" til 'tallica, Slayer, Soulside Journey era Darkthrone osv. pepret mellom slagene. Dette er thrash etter boken men likevel ekstremt lekent, kreativt og melodisk - en utvikling som på mange måter kan sidestilles med det Metallica oppnådde med sin tredje plate, Master Of Puppets.

STORY TIME:

Inculter spilte i bakgården på 40-årsjubileet vårt for en god del år siden - de var vel akkurat blitt gammel nok til å kjøpe en øl i baren. 😉

Jeg var arrangementansvarlig og stresset noe jævlig med å få alle bandene på scenen innenfor kjøreplanen. Jeg stakk hodet innom backstage og ga beskjed om at de var neste band ut.

".. 2 SEK!" - sa en av de mens han hev seg rundt og fant frem en REMA-pose. De slengte gitarene rundt halsen, løp på scenen og tømte posen rundt trommesettet med intet mindre enn hodeskaller, kjettinger og annet nekrostæsj. Fordi såpass må det være! Så var det "1-2-3-4 ALRIGHT! blastbeats"

ASAGRAUM: RELEASE UPDATES
UPDATE 1: Tomorrow we will premiere stream the new album "Veil of Death, Ruptured" over at Black Metal Promotion, so stay tuned for the full album experience!

UPDATE 2: A clear vinyl edition has just been added to the Bandcamp site which we have kept secret until now! Initially this ECP exclusive vinyl was to be kept in the dark until 2024, but due to the silver splatter edition selling out in record time we roll this out now. Only 200 copies (40 copies of these are available only at Asagraum shows). Link in comments.

UPDATE 3: The CD box edition was mispressed at factory so there will be a short delay before we can ship those out. This will also affect the bundle edition. As soon as we have them here, we ship out immediately.

ASAGRAUM: 'VISIONS FROM THE SERPENTS CHALICE'
Let us dive back and have a proper look at this EP which came as a bonus 7inch with a limited run of the "Dawn of Infinite Fire" in only 150 hand numbered copies. What very few of you know, if any, is that half of the layout was with Obscura pictured on the altar and the other half was A.Morthaemer.

In addition, we did 10 blood splattered copies on transparent blue vinyl and also there exists 15 copies on black vinyl which was given to the band to hand out to close friends and family.

The EP features exclusive material with one bonus song from the album recording and an additional unsettling soundscape not drifting far from the nightmares envisioned by Aghast.

For those dedicated ones who read this post till the end, we will on this coming first day of the week at 12:00 CET put up for sale the test pressing LP of the coming album "Veil of Death, Ruptured" on our Bandcamp site, but there is a catch: you need to be signed up for our Bandcamp VIP membership to get it. LYDIA LASKA: NEW SINGLE & MUSIC VIDEO "WALTZHEAD"
ECP is proud to present the brand new single "Waltzhead" from Norway's most notorious rock rebels LYDIA LASKA. This is the first song revealed in nearly five years since the highly acclaimed album "Ego Death" which was released by Edged Circle to much praise upon its release. Voldswagen speaks out:

"Waltzhead was written in Spain 2002 by myself and Candy Whorehole and recorded it for the Krankenhaus album back in 2009, but we chose to leave it out for deliberate obscure reasons. The song entered the Lydia crypts for a long time but we brought it into the limelight finally and mixed it by Emil Nikolaisen (Serena-Maneesh, Todd Rundgren etc.) in march 2019 for this release. The secret plan was to release it as a part of this album including the two first EP’s + another lost song. Anyway, things take time in the Laska universe, but finally Waltzhead is here and EPX2 is out soon!"

In addition, please check out the music video for "Waltzhead" which was "mostly improvised in a couple of hours with only analogue material like cardboard, golden spray and tooth paste. Idea/concept was made by myself and performed by the aid of Hurricane Hermine and Moss Angeles artist Fishbain. Filmed and edited by Erlend Stærk in march 2023". "CALES is the long-running epic/dark metal project of Petr Hošek: the ineffable Blackosh, or Blackie, from legendary Czech black metallers Root. One of the most talented guitarists and composers of metal music in the Czech Republic, Blackosh's career has largely been defined by his work with the pioneering Root during their beginnings in 1987 all the way through to 2004, but the man's creativity knows no bounds.
