🌊 Curious about what’s happening beneath the Arctic sea ice?
The Arctic Ocean is changing faster than anywhere else on Earth, but observing these changes under thick sea ice is a huge challenge.
Join us at Ocean Science Bar for an evening of insights and conversation in a relaxed setting. Two researchers will share how innovative optical and acoustic techniques help us understand ocean temperature and marine ecosystems in the Far North: Håkon Sandven from Universitetet i Bergen will explain how he uses remote sensing for marine ecosystem research in the Arctic, and Hanne Sagen from the Nansen Center will share insights from the Hiaoos.eu project.
