Monkeyshoot Studios is a team of WINNERS!

Congratulations and a big shoutout to our talented team, who won the BEST POSTER and BEST TRAILER awards at the Vesuvius International Film Festival this week with their work on "Möbius' Trip".

🏆 The BEST TRAILER award goes to the multi-talented and editing extraordinaire Maarten Bun, an immensely accomplished filmmaker (he directed our first English language short, the OSCAR®-qualifying "Divide by Zero"). No wonder his finely-tuned senses delivered a trailer which stands above the rest.

🏆 The BEST POSTER award goes to a frankly stunning team, led by Nicole Steendam and Helmut Ramak, with the amazing artists Thomas Dielen, Casper van Tilburg and Bas Goverde always delivering such top-notch work.

Major thanks to our partner ODMedia for their support in packaging this short movie - this moment of celebration is of course also for them!

With "Möbius' Trip" now on the second half of its festival circuit, it's gratifying that the movie is getting seen in different corners of the world.

Returning to Italy (the world première was in Abruzzo), now to the indie Vesuvius International Film Festival, we're nominated in five categories:

- BEST PICTURE
- BEST SHORT MOVIE
- BEST SCRIPT
- BEST POSTER
- BEST TRAILER

Congratulations to all the nominees, and thank you to the festival for the recognition!

The start of this weekend saw the awesome New Zealand's Vision Feast Film Festival award ceremony take place.

Monkeyshoot Studios is pleased to share that "Möbius' Trip" was granted an HONORABLE MENTION prize in this cool celebration of all things genre, along with three other very impressive movies.

Grateful for the recognition, and to be part of one of our favorite festivals in the world!

We are LOVING the journey on which our ambitious and mind-bending action epic "MÖBIUS' TRIP" has gone during the festival circuit.

Now about halfway through the circuit: the recognition both the movie and the talented team behind it have received has been amazing.

Looking back and REFLECTING on the last half-year's journey: we're proud to share the re-release of the main poster, complete with select laurels and announcing our BAFTA-qualifying status!

Wow!!

Yesterday we announced "Möbius' Trip" becoming Official Selection at the very cool New Zealand's Vision Feast Film Festival, and today we've learned that we've been nominated for awards in no less than FOUR categories.

What an absolute honour! The movie is nominated for:

Here you get a small preview taste of the TALE, the TECH and the TALENT.

THE TALE - The story is a special preview scene for the exciting upcoming feature movie “Day Six”!

THE TECHNOLOGY - We’re pleased to share that we shot this using innovative Virtual Production technology, working with the absolute legends at Virtual Innovation Partners on the largest Virtual Production stage in the Benelux at AED Studios.
This was a dream come true!

THE TALENT - Davy Eduard King stars as a US Special Forces lieutenant, working alone in the Iraq desert in 2003...

We’ll share more in the coming days, but in the meantime enjoy this snap of Davy Eduard King in character on one of the
most advanced sets in the world! 🙂

The movie industry often pushes companies together in the form of collaboration. The goal being a true fusion of creative technologies and talents to make something inspiring. Something that one company alone couldn’t make without the other(s).

This month, Monkeyshoot Studios and the Green Heart team were lucky enough to collaborate with Virtual Innovation Partners, Angenieux Lenses, Vocas Sales & Services and of course Monkeyshoots key partner, the epic AED Studios in shooting a special preview scene for an upcoming production — using state-of-the-art technology.

We also worked closely with key partners Triangular Group Academy and Scherpschutters as well as several amazing talents.
More insight into all these collaborations soon. In the meantime…

We’re always ‘Story First’ and nowhere was that more key than on this shoot — where the central world+characters of the production gave a foundation and through-line for the entire conjoined team.

Working with this technology enabled the team to work in an incredibly precise way. We were able to craft something with nuanced control. Something we think you might find beautiful to watch.
