Today is release day! 'Vanishing Point' by Coen Kaldeway Quartet sees the light. "The road towards this point is the adventure. ‘Vanishing Point’ is ‘a musical road trip", says Coen. "With the ‘classic’ quartet sound I tried to create a sense of positivity, warmth and fun”.

Trumpet man Gerben Klein Willink has been present on Flyin' High Records since our first ever release in 2003 (Autumn Forest Song, by Scallymatic Orchestra)! After years of playing and touring with various acts such as Caro Emerald, Chef'Special, Kim Janssen, Fluks, Anne van Veen, Janne Schra and Claudia de Breij he now releases his first solo album 'a Warm Breeze'. A very personal album, where he reveals his lyrical and intimate tone both as a musician and composer.

Accompanied by pianists Rein Godefroy, Pieter de Graaf and Jasper Slijderink, and recorded by Jonas Pap, this album shows Gerben in his own right. A beautiful and rich collection of songs that really takes you somewhere else...

Yes people, finally all those legendary tracks we put out on vinyl 12" singles in the early days (2003-2006) are available for streams! Including that first hard-to-find Scallymatic Orchestra​ track 'Autumn Forest Song' it all started with, the first tracks by o.a. Hipster Wonkaz and Dogdaze. Even some previously unreleased ones, like an original Buruman and a few instrumentals and remixes.
