Enfant Terrible is a Dutch independent platform for music and was founded in 2004. Next to these series there is the sublabel Hex Grammofoonplaten.

Enfant Terrible is a Dutch label for electronic music and was founded in 2004 and is run by M. Enfant Terrible was one of the first labels to start to give recognition and attention to the pioneers of minimal electronics / proto-elektro / avant-garde pop / experimental pop from the early 1980's. Next to it is one of the few labels in this field of music that truly invests in the development of new

talents in this music tradition. The label brings you the new wave of new wave in all its styles, genres and colors, beyond rigid definitions, with talents from today and releases with lost material from the old days. The styles and sounds of Enfant Terrible are elektro, wave, industrial and weird pop music. There are three series of release: Enfant Terrible limited, Enfant Terrible unlimited and the Petit Enfant series. In 2012 the Gooiland Elektro sublabel was added for dancefloor orientated music: contemporary music in the traditions of early European techno, house and dance music. In 2014 a new sublabel called Vrystaete was founded with a focus on folklore, psychedelic and lo-fi sounds. All records in this series come in small editions with handmade packaging and/or artwork. Enfant Terrible stands for both soothing and disturbing electronic sounds. Sometimes modern and open-minded, sometimes traditional and conservative.
