Yo!! Time to fix a halloween outfit!

Since 2006 DJ FritZ has played at various club nights and international festivals where alternative electronic music is on the program. Among these are the WGT, Castleparty, Castlefest and Infest.
Since 2015 he hosts UNTERWASSER and sporadic live streaming has been added in the last 4 years.
FritZ has a broad orientation and always brings the unexpected, that what the crowd didnt know they needed.
His preference is mainly louder underground electronics such as techno, electro-industrial and rhythmic noise mixed in long flowing ravey sets. But a good old dark earworm or underrated B-side can also be around the corner. FritZ will take you on very deep dive this halloween!

After 4x4 hours of DJ fun over this weekend , I had to take a long good sleep first before posting the experience. Here it is: Thick layers of dust on my gear, burned skin, complete lack of sleep and woke up with flu-like symptoms, but let this not spoil the great memories!
The 4 nights of DJing were great. Did games with the crowd, spinned so many different genres, fun with my fellow DJs and so many smiles to enjoy. During the days I needed some chillings to hold myself together so I missed a lot of you. But I did manage to connect and reconnect with new and old people on professional, spiritual and/or emotional levels, which only this festival can offer.

New mixer up and running. Getting the hang of it. First mixtapes on the new beast are out. For now I think I’ve reached my endgame setup. Maybe some new monitor speakers to upgrade from the budget KRK stuff. But my old ears probably wont hear the difference anyway.
(Sidenote: protect and test your ears regularly, nothing wrong with my hearing and want to keep it that way)

Traktor pro3 power through the Xone:Px5 soundcard and analog mixer. 4 decks controlled through 2x D2 controllers and 2x RP-8000Mk2 vinyl players. Internal FX from the software, the mixer and external through the Kaosspad3. Stems and sample decks at the finger tips and all the extra inputs available to blast the roof off my house. And when I play out, Ill spit out USB sticks like its nothing and miss tons of cool functions with the “club standard” competition.

Blasting this years Infest Festival together with Nachtraaf and DJ Vidma. Really proud because its one of my fav festivals with its on point fresh line-ups, quility DJ sets and the best people out there.

Ahoy! Here we go again! Unterwasser will be bigger than ever. Lets build epic memories in 3 rooms at the Nobel in Leiden, with concerts, driving beats and even an alternative lounge. This lineup makes me proud and when I see what Unterwasser has become in the last 8 years the butterflies that I felt the first time are back. This is what a scene is all about. Airports, trainstations, highways and hotels are close by. Good excuse for a nice weekend in Leiden aswell. So join me there!
