Finally we had a roadburn again! With my masters in Law and Tech on the go I decided not to shoot this year but write for . It was so good to see everyone again, even though it was an intense experience after 3 years of being a hermit due to therapy and the pandemic.it has reminded me I need to edit and upload more of the long exposure shots I have in archive, to share with you all.
It was particularly intense for me as well, with the amount of powerful, strong women platforming their own trauma and abuse stories, while I'm still in the middle of dealing with therapy for my own and this was the first big foray into the scene he is a part of since I've started on that long hard road to recovery.
Thank-you to all the friends, old and new, that listened to me whine, trauma dump and be a ptsd triggered mess this weekend; it really helped! This is why I love our little community and refuse to run away.
By day 5 for me (the spark being my start) my back was shot as I didn't do the upkeep on my back muscles over the pandemic so instead I wore one of my custom made corsets, if you're interested in the historical sewing of my creativity, check out my other profile, I'm a bit more active there anyhow. Wearing it was a great decision and really saved my back! 10/10 can reccomend even if its a bit extra.
Roadburn was a rollercoaster but atleast it ended on a good note, until next we meet.
