After training in circus, dance, and theater (CNAC and CNSAD), HA KYOON became a self-taught musician. He creates music for machines, a snare drum, and a voice. At the intersection of concert halls and clubs, his live performances continuously navigate between genres, a kind of post-club music that hovers between hardcore techno, rhythmic noise, and experimental music.
He has shared the stage with artists like Dopplereffekt, Metaraph, UVB76, Heimat, IV Horsemen, and others, performing in Paris, Brussels, Seoul, Busan, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, Saigon, Beijing, Shanghai, Jakarta, and more. Now Tilburg will be next.
He presented an initial version of Memory For the Future at Lafayette Anticipations-Paris in October 2023 and is one of the laureates of SHAPE + for 2024-2025. Whether through performance or music, the idea is physical, like a long cry in the night, between joy and the rage of living.
