It is not a coincidence that Diplomat Magazine was born in June 2013. We paid special attention to make it happen the year of Investiture of His Majesty, King Willem-Alexander and during the centennial celebrations of the Carnegie Foundation, which we fully supported. It has been very well engineered from us to sponsor and work in partnership with the newly founded Diplomat Club The Hague http://www.diplomatmagazine.nl/dc/ which has similar principles and goals as DM. DM is the conception of top Dutch ICT-designer professionals and the volunteer action from international relations researchers, the academia, foreign affairs experts, local NGOs, selected Dutch voluntary journalists, professional photographers, Dutch lawyers and notaries, public servants, fine arts gurus, and the last but not least, the honorary and kindheartedly participation of chosen senior diplomats accredited to The Netherlands. One shall take into account that Diplomat Magazine is not a standard passive publication, but a high level diplomatic event organizer (some of them in collaboration with Carlton Ambassador Hotel) together with Diplomat Club The Hague, diplomatic missions, NGOs and the private sector.
