The Sessions is a respected name in the international music industry. It is one with longevity, versatility and flexibility, managed and owned by Christian Jansen (artist name C-Jay) Despite difficult global times, The Sessions is back once again – with a new outlook for 2021 and beyond. In 2004, The Sessions started as a record label for C-Jay’s own musical productions. Top artists demanded a rel

ease on the burgeoning label, with the brand rapidly establishing itself as a high-quality music outlet, supported by the key players. Prior to the record label, The Sessions (based out of C-Jay’s record store in Holland) was a respected events brand. Events were held in Amsterdam venues such as Paradiso, Mazzo, Panama and Melkweg with the best DJ’s on the planet flying in to headline. As of 2021 the label has reverted to it's original purpose, namely being an exclusive outlet for C-Jay's own music, with a selection of other artist's releases as well, handpicked by C-Jay himself. With a brand as strong as The Sessions and Covid continuing to make the future of the music industry unclear, now is the right time for him to take full control again. The circle, which commenced back in 2004, is now complete, and ready to adapt to the future.
