This is my debut documentary film, "The Whale and the Resurrection," which explores two sculptures by Mustafa Ali. It has been nominated for The Hague Film Festival Awards in the "Chronicles of War" category for 2022.
The 39-minute film was created without staging or extensive preparation, relying only on simple planning. During a visit to my hometown of Damascus in 2020, I encountered Mustafa, an energetic pioneer who constantly initiated art projects. Captivated by his drive, I decided that time to film him with my only equipment—a reliable yet old Sony camera. Over three months, I documented his process until he completed the two sculptures.

In the beautiful city of the Hague, It was an honor for me to be part of the ( bevrijdingsdag ) liberation day 2021 TV streaming. And after a lot of investigating and researching, the making of this short documentary comes to me with a lot of awareness and great expos to the real sad events of the second world war in Nederland.
This is the short documentary Rabbijn Albert Ringer telling the story of his ancestors and what did they suffer during the second world war, but later all those events become a coexistence for the next generation, enjoy watching it.

In the summer of 2019, I was looking for a distinctive character to create a micro-documentary in that time I met Patrick who was performing in the living village festival and I filmed this short video capturing his impressive technique, skils, and belives.
