Zoetermeer Backstage gave visitors a unique chance to explore some of Zoetermeer’s hidden cultural gems, with exclusive access to places like theaters, galleries, and dance schools.

What we love most about these events is capturing the real vibe—away from posed shots, focusing on the excitement and moments that truly reflect the energy of the day. It’s the laughter, discovery, and connections that make these moments so special.

With nearly 100 in attendance, our documentary ‘Het Gebouw Dat Verhuisde - The Building That Moved’ premiered. 😍

It’s been an amazing journey of production and collaboration together with to raise awareness towards the potential of circular and smart buildings in achieving our climate targets. The screening was followed by an insightful panel discussion that dove deeper into the topics discussed.

A special thanks to all the attendees, panelists, and partners including Yvonne van Delft, the Deputy Mayor for Energy, Work and Income and Culture, Jan Willem ter Steege, Dennis Wijnands, the moderator for the panel, Charlie Wulff, and the amazing host and storyteller in the whole documentary, Jasper Stokman.

We have moved to a brand new office! ✨

After six incredible years, the HPM office and studio have officially moved to Waldorpstraat 5 (next to Den Haag HS), together with The Hague Tech. While our studio is still getting ready, we are making ourselves feel right at home. This move marks a fresh start, full of possibilities, ideas, and gezelligheid!

Whether it’s for a coffee, a brainstorm, or just a visit, we look forward to welcoming you soon!

We promised an exciting new year here at HPM and here is another groundbreaking announcement! 🚀

After 1.5 years of hard work on our ‘secret’ project, it’s with pleasure to announce HPM’s first-ever documentary in collaboration with , ‘Het gebouw dat verhuisde - The building that moved’.

The short film is all about the future of sustainable and smart buildings. This unique film tells the story of a groundbreaking project: moving a smart building from Rotterdam to Leiden and giving it a new life as part of the circular innovation hub, The Field. 🌿✨

The documentary delves into circular construction, innovative technologies, and sustainable urban development, featuring insights from 10 leading experts in these fields. 🎥🏗️

Let’s start this year with a really exciting announcement: HPM is moving to a NEW OFFICE together with our studio. 🤩

We’ve been members of where and first met each other and started working together. Yes, our directors met at THT and we’ve been members of this community for over 7 years. We’re pleased to continue our membership AND partnership with The Hague Tech into 2025 and move to the hub’s brand new location.

A few weeks ago some of our team members visited what is soon to be our office and next to it, our joint studio with The Hague Tech to prepare for our big move.

Should we plan a big office warming party??? We think Ali’s figuring out how to install party lights in the ceiling already. 🎉

Last week we hosted our end of the year Team Day to celebrate an amazing year at HPM, have some fun together, and lastly, to say farewell to one of our longest standing team members,

It was a day of laughter, creativity, and occasional tears as we took turn to share stories about our beloved colleague and friend who has taken an amazing step forward in her career after nearly 5 years with HPM. We wish Helena all the best in her future endavours.

With the end of 2024 quickly approaching, we also want to thank all of our team members, partners, and clients for having been with us this year.
2025 is shaping up to be an absolutely amazing year for us with some crazy cool announcements in the coming weeks, new projects, and new ideas in the pipeline.

Meet Bastiaan Buesink 🍉

Introducing our new team member, Bastiaan! At 35 years old, born in Willemstad, Curacao, Bastiaan brings a diverse background to our editing team.

Having lived in China and studied Digital Music Production and Media & Entertainment Management, he’s a creative powerhouse with a passion for video production, especially drone videos. When he’s not editing, you can find him producing music, drawing, creating digital art, or enjoying some downtime with a refreshing watermelon.

Their team, led by Mathis van der Voordt, develops a model that empowers urban planners to make data-driven decisions and create safer, more resilient cities. We helped them create a promo video and capture some photos to showcase their innovative work. It was a fun and productive collaboration with their team.

We made the trip from The Hague to Amsterdam to shoot an aftermovie and photos for . 📸

The day was packed with setting up shots, interviews, and having fun along the way. From capturing behind-the-scenes moments like showing off his makeup artistry (who knew Rutger’s makeup game is as sharp as his film skills?), to nailing some insane angles, and snapping some great photos.

When these three go on a shoot together, you know it’s going to be a fun day! It’s always inspiring to see a project come together, especially with amazing clients like Mercy Corps. From morning prep to the final wrap-up, the energy stayed high, and we made the most of every moment.

We teamed up with the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of Rotterdam to bring their hybrid event to life!

Led by Wil Hout and his PhD candidates, ‘Eradicating Poverty: Pathways towards achieving the SDGs (ADAPTED)’ was packed with great research pitches, lively discussions, and plenty of audience interaction.

It’s always great to create a space where important ideas can spark big conversations, and this event was no exception! A huge thank you to ISS and everyone who joined.

Ubuntu Summit in The Hague was a lot of fun!

Over the three days, we captured many great moments at taking photos, shooting videos, and even editing a highlight reel of the summit on location. It was inspiring to see tech leaders, developers, and open-source enthusiasts come together to explore the latest advancements in technology. Also there were a lot of stickers everywhere which we love!

What a day at the in Amsterdam! ✈️📸

We were excited to partner with RozieAI and capture all the highlights. and teamed up to film some sessions, panels, and great networking moments at the RozieAI booth, highlighting the awesome RozieAI Synopsis for Events solution.

What a great day at The Hague Energized! As proud media partners for the 7th edition, we loved being part of this event.

Our team consisting of , , and , were on-site to capture all the action. From great talks by Paul Hoogeveen and Rogier Blokdijk to the Start-Up Spotlight featuring brilliant minds in sustainable energy and hydrogen tech.

Cybersecurity Week is a wrap ! 🎬

We were very honoured to once again work with this year’s Cybersecurity Week in The Hague. From 30 September to 4 October 2024, the International City of Peace and Justice focused on global cybersecurity efforts.

Here is what we worked on:
> We were present on at Stadhuis, at , ECSO Cyber Investor Days at HSD Campus, the International Cybersecurity Business event at Leonardo Royal Hotel, Beyond Borders at , just to name a few.
> , , , , and captured the many great moments on film and created two same day edited aftermovies for ONE Conference and Hack The Hague which we will share with you soon! If you just cannot wait, you can find them on the Cybersecurity Week channel.
> More video content is being finalised which is keeping our office warm and cozy with the our editing stations running in full force.

This week reminded us of how much we have grown as a team. It was hard work, but so fun to do this together and to see what we are able to pull-off.

Larvall is studying Creative Business at Breda University of Applied Sciences and will support our filming and video editing team.

In to capture how pretzels and great ideas go hand-in-hand 🥨

We were thrilled to be invited by GMEP (Global Market Entry Program) to capture the delegation from The Hague at 2024. GMEP, an initiative of and The Hague & Partners, helps local businesses expand into international markets, making Bits & Pretzels the perfect platform for networking and showcasing innovative ideas.

Our colleague was busy capturing all the action. So, shoutout to Giovanna and Adelin for stepping in with their behind the scenes photography skills! 😅
