Important realizations when you are in your mid-20s:

1. It is okay to feel tired, but being tired should never be an excuse to stop.

2. Being dependent on others may provide for your needs, but it is important to strive for independence.

3. When your family is supporting you, it can be difficult to grasp how much a peso is worth, even if you aren't spoiled. As you start living on your own, however, you'll soon realize that frivolous things you would normally not give a second thought about purchasing are not worth the hours of work equivalent to the price tag.

4. There is a big difference between dreaming and doing. You can't just daydream for a life.

5. Luck doesn’t exist. It’s a combination of preparation, timing, opportunity, and who you know. You can be great, or equally, you can be average. You choose.

6. You gain friends and lose some. Not because they are bad people, but because it's just the way life is.

7. People will resent you if you try to always be right.

8. Many companies like to portray themselves as families, but at the end of the day, that's just semantics. If your company can no longer afford you or thinks it can invest more wisely in someone else, you'll be cut from that family pretty easily.

9. Make yourself a priority.

10. Take care of your body.

It is difficult to acknowledge the ways in which we are so deeply inclined to self-validate, so we end up standing in our own way out of pride. It is even more difficult to acknowledge that very often, the things we envy in others are fragments of our deepest desires, the ones we won't allow ourselves to have.

A motivated man will act, but quit after a while.

A disciplined man will fight relentlessly until he wins.

And an extraordinary man will turn his dreams into reality by combining motivation and discipline.

Motivation is the spark, that ignites our dreams and drives us to take action.

Discipline is the fuel, that keeps us going, even when things get tough.

Without motivation, we may never start working towards our goals.

Without discipline, we may give up before we reach them.

But when we combine motivation and discipline, we become unstoppable.

We can achieve anything we set our minds to.

• Set clear and achievable goals.

• Find something that inspires you.

• Create a plan.

• Take action.

• Don't give up.

Remember, motivation and discipline are not mutually exclusive.

In fact, they are complementary.

When you are motivated, you are more likely to be disciplined.

And when you are disciplined, you are more likely to achieve your goals.

So, don't be just an average person.

Be a person who combines motivation and discipline,

To achieve your dreams and become extraordinary.

A comfortable and easy life is a miserable life.
Nowhere in human history was it stated that being a man was easy.
Life is supposed to be full of challenges and it's your duty to rise above them.

Good things come to those who wait.

They say, people who wait patiently are typically rewarded and often achieve their desires and goals. It implies that if you are patient and willing to wait for something, you will eventually receive or achieve something positive.

NO, you can't just sit there and wait. You have to hustle. Work for yourself. Plants don't grow without water or sunlight. Get up!

When you love someone, please learn to love all their different versions.

Please accept that they have different versions for different parts of their lives. They can be a different person in their workplace, in their family home, in social media, in the streets, and when with you. Acknowledge that they have a life outside the one that you both share. They have things to do, dreams to chase, roles to fulfill. And some of those they have to do on their own.

When you love someone, please don’t cage them. Please let them soar. Let them do things they love, let them shine, let them rest. Support them, cheer for them. Please don’t make them feel like they have to choose between you and their own world because in love, there’s no need to choose. In love, there’s harmony. In love, there’s room for healthy boundaries and priorities.

When you love someone, please don’t love them too much to the point that it suffocates them. You are not their world; and you shouldn’t make them yours. Because love isn’t about making the other person your world; it’s about holding each other’s hand and facing the world together.

Ang galing no?

Natatakot ka? - Do not fear; I am with you. (Isaiah 41:8-10)

Malungkot ka? - The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and rescues them from all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17-18)

Nawawalan ng pag-asa? - Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23-24).

And many, many more promises na inilaan lang Nya para sayo at para sakin.

Kaya pag nararamdaman mo na mas malakas ang boses ng mga kahinaan mo kesa sa sarili mong boses, tandaan mo na mas malakas pa din ang mga pangako ni LORD para sayo.

He is more than your weaknesses.
More than your anxiety, more than your depression, more than the monster in your closet, more than anything you could ever compare Him to.

Jesus is more than enough.
