Your university, your news. All our articles can be found on tr.rasa.nu, and also twice per semester
First published in 2004, Tabula Rasa, the university newspaper, has been and continues to be written and designed by the student body for the entire community of University College Roosevelt. Tabula Rasa is the Latin term for “blank slate” and stems from John Locke’s theory that the human mind, at birth, is devoid of content or rules. Through the experiences gained from the outside world, the impr
essionable human mind is influenced and developed. It is out of this epistemological thought that Tabula Rasa functions. Our newspaper is a blank slate, and it is our hope that the stories we publish go on to inform our readers, and to help cultivate and develop their thoughts.
