4K UHD / AURO-3D 🇯🇵 "Japanese original" and 🇫🇷 "French dubbed" versions of SHIN ULTRAMAN are available through Factoris Films, slated for release on 20 May 2026.
Shin Ultraman is a 2022 Japanese science-fiction film that reimagines the classic Shin Ultraman franchise for modern audiences. Directed by Shinji Higuchi and written by Hideaki Anno, the movie follows Japan as it faces a series of giant monster attacks until a mysterious silver giant known as Ultraman appears to defend humanity. Blending large-scale kaiju action, political satire, and thoughtful themes about cooperation between species, the film updates the spirit of the original 1960s series while using contemporary visual effects and storytelling. It was praised for balancing nostalgia with fresh ideas, making it appealing to longtime fans and newcomers alike.
