Dear Dancers,
We've been hard at work trying to prepare you the next unforgettable dance experience with the second edition of our Eden festival.
Organising the second edition has not gone without bumps and bruises:
After our first edition it took some time for the venue to confirm the second. One of the issue we had faced was the limited availability of rooms as the festival was very quickly sold out.
For the second edition we would need twice or tripple the capacity that we had been given for our first edition. So we were very hopeful when the hotel confirmed us a few weeks after the conclusion of our first edition.
So we launched our promo campaign with a teaser.
A few months later, the hotel came back to us with more details surrounding the confirmation: First, the capacity was slightly increased (18%) but to our shock, prices went up with 36%.
We could have worked around the capacity issue, but we believe that this steep price increase would be restrictive to most dancers which would make a festival pointless.
So we started looking for alternatives both in Croatia and elsewhere.
As there are already many great festivals out there, we kept our standards high and even raised the bar for our second edition. For us it was and still is important to keep the Eden vibe.
To date, we have not yet found a suitable venue that can offer the quality we need around the back to school period (in order to "capture the last summer sun").
As we are receving increasing pressure from eager dancers that already had purchased their tickets and are now reaching out to us for flights and hotels,
we have decided to cancel current edition and return the people their money, effective immediately.
As we are very thankful for our ardent supporters and early bookers, we have decided to not only refund the tickets but also any costs incurred (including flights) that can no longer be cancelled freely.
The only condition we ask is to provide us with a proof. We will reach out to you individually today to request bank details. Refund will be immediate.
