We are happy to announce that we will record the mechanical Holtgräve organ (from 1843) in the Bergkerk in Deventer (Holland) for Hauptwerk in February 2024. The organ has 23 speaking stops, including 4 reed-stops.

After a quite long period of absence (but in the meantime we continued to work hard on our ongoing projects) we are happy to announce that the sound-processing of the upcoming new Cavaillé-Coll/Mutin choir-organ in Osnabrück (Germany) sampleset has been completed !😀.
We are currently still beta-testing this set.
It looks like the final release of this sampleset could still take place in 2023 or begin 2024. The set will be available in 4 tracks: front and rear. Acoustics are around 5-6 seconds. More details are still unknown at this time.

Today we welcomed our new PC system: a Intel Core i7 13700K 16-core 3.4 Ghz. 64Gb. memory. We will use this one particular for sampleset development and testing alongside the other two systems. Our total data storage is now 22 Tb.

Last night we finished recording the Mutin-Cavaille organ in the Dom of Osnabruck (D).

Tomorrow evening we will start to record the final 11 stops of the Kleuker/Fleiter organ in Alstätte (Germany). We are almost there !
The sampleset of this organ (in 4-channel with adjustable front/rear perspective) will be further developed this winter, so that we could release it around March - May 2024.

This evening we had our 3rd recording-session @ the Sankt Mariä Himmelfahrt in Alstätte (Germany). This is a baroque-style organ from Kleuker/ Fleiter out of 1972.
We're almost done recording. Still 11 stops to go....
Our goal is to record the organ completely before Christmas.

On November 29 we started recording the Mutin-Cavaillé-Coll organ in the Osnabrück Dom (Germany) for Hauptwerk.
Because of the cold, we unfortuately had to stop earlier as planned.
The recordings will continue in January 2023.

Two days ago we recorded the first stops of the 1972 Kleuker/ Fleiter (baroque-like) organ (IIP/27) in the Pfarrkirche Sankt Mariä Himmelfahrt in Alstätte (Germany).
The intention is to record the entire organ this year, as it has just been tuned. The next recording session is scheduled for next week and we will continue recording some stops every week through december.
The church has up to 4.5 seconds of acoustics and the sampleset will consist front and rear samples (quad).
The final release-date of the sampleset is unknown at this time.

In the final weeks of 2022 we will record the 1972 Kleuker-organ in the Pfarrkirche Sankt Mariä Himmelfahrt in Alstätte (Germany).
It is a beautiful baroque-like organ (IIP/27) with sufficient registration options. Kleuker is known as a renowned builder of this type of organs. The recordings will be made in four tracks (front/rear only) and we expect to release this sampleset in Q4-2023.

Good news 😀!
Today we have received permission to record the 1898 Cavaillé-Coll - Mutin choir-organ (IIP/15) of the Domkirche Sankt Petri in Osnabrück (Germany) for Hauptwerk.
We are looking forward to this, especially because it is a great organ with a mild tone, which fits perfectly in the room. The recordings will be made @ the end of november 2022.

Again some news about our latest developments:

* We are currently re-programming the Wildervank sampleset incl. the creation of a new (realistic) windmodel (because there were a lot of errors unfortunately). Also the samples will be reviewed.
Release somewhere in Q1-2023.
* The new recordings of the Wacker-organ in Uithuizen will start this year autumn. This sampleset will be launched in 2023.
* In september we will record the last part of the Adema-organ in Raalte. We will try to 8u release the set in 2023. 80% is ready and in beta.
* Probably in November we will start recording the Kleuker-organ in Alstatte (Germany).
* This year we will launch the new sampleset of the little Pels-organ (IIP/12) in Neede including a windmodel. More about this sampleset later on.
* The ODF and sound of the Grafhorst sampleset will also be re-reviewed and later on re-released.

Some news about Raalte:
We are convinced that it will be possible to release the new sampleset of the Adema-organ in Raalte (NL) somewhere in 2023.
However, there is still a lot of work to be done, because the organ itself is quite large, brutal and complicated ! It will be also virtually expanded with some stops.
We will finish the final sound-recordings in Raalte in September 2022 and these will be fully developed in the following autumn/winter. The whole will be programmed, tested and finally released at the end of 2023.

The Covid pandemic is no longer a threat, so we will restart our sound recordings again! We planned to record these three wonderful organs in 2022:
Uithuizen (NL) (Walcker 1878 II/12)
Alstatte (D) (Kleuker 1972 II/27)
Osnabruck (D) (Cavaillé-Coll/Mutin 1898 II/15).

In addition, we will also make the final recordings in Raalte this year. The intention is to release the Raalte set in 2023.

Despite the Corona restrictions, we are still developing new material for upcoming samplesets.
At the moment we are working on the small 1937 Pels organ (IP/7) in Neede (NL). The original disposition will be expanded with three stops from the neighboring 1941 Pels organ in Rietmolen, which will result in this final disposition (IP/10):
Manual: Principal 8', Bourdon 8', Spitzgamba 8'*, Octave 4', Open Flute 4'*, Recorder 2', Mixture II-III (2'), Oboe 8'.
Pedal: Subbass 16', Octavebass 8'*
The stops with a * are derrived from the organ in Rietmolen. See the photo of both organs together.

This year (Spring) we will also make new sound-recordings of the mechanical 1878 Walcker organ in the Zionskerk in Uithuizen (NL). This is the oldest and smallest Walcker organ present in the Netherlands (IIP/12) with a very nice sound and a continuous (!) 4' mixture stop. The church has very dry acoustics and so does the recording. We visited this church earlier in 2014 to record some stops of this organ in behalf of the new Wildervank sampleset, but now we are going to record the organ completely for a future sampleset.

Our 2012 sampleset of the Verschueren organ in the former church of Grafhorst (NL) was removed from our product-range a while ago. At the request of many, we have decided to make this set available for a free download immediately. This (dry) set is suitable for Hauptwerk 4 ONLY and it's format is 24bit/48 kHz. with a single release sample only.

Due to the Covid pandemic, it is almost impossible to make new sound recordings at the moment. Nevertheless, we are currently still working (in the background) on our upcoming 'Raalte' sampleset (the sound is now beta-ready for 80%) but due to the delays of the final recordings to be made, this set unfortunately will not be released this year. But certainly in 2022!
In addition, there are a number of other organ-projects in the pipeline, so hopefully we can start working on them as soon as possible without any restrictions.
