Got to meet and chat with one of my biggest idols last Saturday at This is Madness. DJ Delirium

had brought a stack of his records for me to autograph. And he really made the effort to provide them all with a piece of text and autograph.

Also special that he just knew my name and also stopped by during our set.

What a lovely person and an honor to get to know you. There is almost no set in which I don’t play 1 record of his. That’s how much he has meant to me and especially the scene ❤️

This Friday, I get to play a b2b vinyl set with DJ Breakfreak .van.ast at Stekkerdoos.

This is a new organization and they are holding this edition for the first time. The lineup may be there for the true early enthusiast.

And the Willemeen location has been home to many legendary parties. We are going to spin a funcore set this time 😁

And very much looking forward to it!

This Saturday, Madness Industry celebrates its 10th anniversary at the most beautiful venue in the Netherlands club Now&Wow 😎

I may join my buddy Sketler in turning the Vinyl area upside down. Very much looking forward to it and we have already picked some nice records to provide you with 💪🏼

Purchased a new USB Stick from DJ TechTools for faster processing of the music. This stick has very good reviews because it has fast load and write times 💪🏼

And immediately had my own name engraved on it for a better overview during playing which stick is mine 😁.

It has already happened to me once to pull out the wrong stick 😅 🤣

Due to all the busyness I am a little late but happy new year to everyone and best wishes for 2025!

2024 was another great year for me with a lot of great bookings and collaborations. Since 2023 was one of my best years it felt a bit quieter for me last year but in the end when I look back on it I still had a special year with a lot of great new memories,

with big names on stage. Like playing a set with .

My monthly radio show on

For my Agency I had a lot of great bookings like Madness XL in one of the best locations of the Netherlands Club Now&Wow 😎

And for the best early hardcore parties like .resistance , , Quaverstone and Carnacore.

Together with organized our own party with a solo b2b2 night.

And last year’s highlight was playing , the biggest hardcore festival in the world. And on the afterparty of Antwerp 😎

And besides that I was able to play a lot of nice private parties. With some special experiences like spontaneously playing a set with 😁

And also a track released thanks to the cooperation with on the label

All in all a successful musical year and would like to thank all the organizations and especially my agency for the trust and good care.

I would also like to thank for creating all the artwork for the announcements and online promotional material. And the desigs for the merchandise

And for selling my merchandise

And last but not least the fans who every week and every set again dedication in front were going crazy to my sets 😎

This year’s first show on Toxic Sickness comes on the radio today. Because I want to showcase some multiple styles this year. I chose to showcase the die hard fan day warmup mix.

A few years ago we organized a day with a group of Thunderdome die hards to honor the wizard and make it a fun day together. For this day I had made a warmup mix with a combination of Millennium Anthems and old Thunderdome classics.

This was also the day I asked my lovely wife to marry me and it became one of the best moments of our lives ❤️

DJ Graat (Gerard Visschers)

The name came from the very first party, when the record was playing named: Chosen Few – Name of the DJ.

Everybody shouted “DJ GRAAT “ And the legendary name was immediately chosen not by the Chosen Few but by the audience!

DJ Graat is consistent with his love for music all of his life. He is been involved in music as long as he can remember and especially his love for Hardcore!

When DJ Graat was a child he would put cassette tapes together from his Father with all of his favorite music, the radio played everything he liked and so his love for recording and mixing had been born.

In high school it really started to kick of when he knew he would be a DJ for life for the hardcore scene! He met someone who had more experience and the chemistry began, they soon became best friends with the same passion for Hardcore� After he visited for the first time the house of his new best friend he was totally sold to all the gear and equipment that was over there. It was a dream to work with all of this equipment.

The time had arrived that he could afford his own DJ set, through a friend of his he could procure a set for a good valued price and the marriage between DJ Graat and vinyl had been fulfilled! After purchasing 2 brand new Technics SL 1200’s the love for the hardcore scene only grew stronger and stronger.

The styles of music where the heart of DJ Graat belongs are Oldschool & Millenium but his absolute favourite will always be and remain Early Hardcore!
